Paper Mill - Felt Roller

Problem: Severe corrosion on roller face - in some areas up to 2mm deep.

Solution: Preparation by vaccuum blasting with Aluminium Oxide then an Arcsprayed coating of Stainless Steel. Roller then ground back to original size.

Results: Lost production time was minimal and the repair cost only $6,000 whereas a new roller would have been $60-80,000.
