Arc Spray or sometimes referred to as twin wire arc spray, is a process that uses an electric arc to melt wires.  The molten metal is then atomised with compressed air to create a spray stream that applies the coating onto the surface being sprayed.

Flame Spray is a process that uses an oxy-fuel flame to melt wires and in some cases powders or ceramic rods.  The molten material is then atomised with compressed air to create a spray stream that applies the coating onto the surface being sprayed.

The thermal spray process is used to repair and preserve Classic and Custom vehicle body work. Applying thermal sprayed material onto a rust peppered body panel is a revolutionary way of restoring and protecting original panels.

Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) is a severe form of localized external corrosion that occurs in carbon and low alloy steel equipment that has been insulated. Thermal Spray Aluminium (TSA) coatings are specified by many major oil companies and have been applied at N.Z Refinery in Ruakaka.
